If you like genever and you are fond of blackcurrants, then you will definitely love the cocktail below, again one of my recent signature recipes.

  • 50 ml  De Ooievaar Loyaal zeer oude genever
  • 100 ml Blackcurrant puree (Ravi fruit)
  • 20 ml sugar syrup (1 part sugar : 1 part water)
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 2-3 basil leaves

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with one basil leave and two straws.
