Gin owes its world fame to the British navy. This is what most of the bartenders know and this is why they attach gin to England. I was making the same conjunction, until the day that I found myself in the groovy Spanish city of Barcelona. Gin is so much appreciated there and the drink is so close related to citizens’ life and culture, that we could not believe our eyes. And now that Gin Mare is on production, the Spaniards have one more reason to love the juniper spirit.
