I don’t know the reason why, but this is the truth: I am very fond of creme brulees. So, I tried to create a drinkable one! Wanna see how?
 
  • 40 ml  Disaronno liquer
  • 30 ml Triple Sec
  • 30 ml Angostura 1919 Rum
  • 30 ml vanilla flavored cream*
  • half teaspoon brown sugar (for the caramelization) 


Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top up carefully with a thin layer of the vanilla flavored cream. Garnish with a pinch of dark brown sugar and grab your kitchen torch. Burn the sugar  with it carefully until it gets a caramelized color. Enjoy your disaronno brulee!

* I make the vanilla flavored cream by whipping highly pasteurized low fat milk with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste ( picture above). You get the point that the mixture is prepared, as soon as it gets light and fluffy.
